Family Legacy

June 25, 2010

Adam's Star Wars guys. Each slot carefully labeled. Stored and kept safe at Nana's house. Sent to us a few years ago. Enjoyed and played with by Noah and Camille. Makes me wonder what toys will have special meaning for their kids years from now.

Wow, what a flashback. Adam played for those for hours on end.

What care, that much be such a treat to see your children now enjoying the same toys. we have a few toys like that but not many, plastic and Maltese summers do not get along well and I think my husband was just at that generation where parents switched from metal and wooden toys to plastic. Makes me want to really invest in only metal, cloth or wooden toys for my kids.
My mothers tiny metal tea set has been a hit for all the children, I think so much are went into making toys back in the 50's.

I guess it is just is well that I didn't save my Barbies since I don't have any girls. How fun that they love to play with your husbands Star Wars action figures.

It reminds me of Toy Story 3. So glad he had something he loved enough to keep safe.
