"Rapunzel Fairy" by Camille and "Attack of the Volcano Monkeys" by Noah (inspired by one of his favorite books).
Our weekend weather forecast looks pretty dreary, so I am looking forward to watching this with the kids, baking hamantaschen, attending a local production of Annie, playing Mastermind (anyone remember that original game box? read this), napping, reading and have a nice lazy weekend. Hope your weekend is also relaxing with some bursts of color and interest! If you've never tried drawing with a black crayon and adding watercolors, you should try it.

love this art idea as well.
I totally remember that Mastermind box. I played that game a lot with my dad. I'm so glad you mentioned it, I need to go find one! And that article about the cover shot sealed the deal.
I can't believe I never thought of using a BLACK crayon instead of white with watercolors.
For Goodness Sake -- thank you!
Love the water colors. Your weekend sounds perfect. It is going to rain here too. Thankfully, we have German school tomorrow where the children will celebrate carnival and a birthday party to attend. Then we have a grown ups party at my husbands boss house.
Such wonderful painting/drawings... We have some art on our list this weekend. I will have to pull out the black crayon.
Have a great weekend.
Judson and I have been playing a lot of mastermind lately. don't even remember the old game but Randy loved it so 'santa' brought it to our house. it's been a hit!
will have have to try the watercolor idea soon.
