Flying out tomorrow. Everything is packed and ready to go. Ants have been removed from car seats (fun, lots of fun). Library fines have been paid. Good-byes have been said. Passports are in hand. Butterflies in my stomach. Excited, anxious, and ready to finally get there.

Wow-- so much work and anxiety and fun, all wrapped into one, huh? I wish you guys the easiest overseas move ever. :)
And isn't it nice to know that you don't have to pack up your blog in addition to everything else? It will all still be here waiting for you when you get to Italy. :)

sooo excited for you :) we'll be on a plane headed that way tomorrow as well.
Can't wait for you to be over here, I know it's sort of silly, but it'll be like we'll be sharing more things together! Buon viaggio.
Thinking of you!! Wishing you safe travels. Looking forward to reading about your transition.
Wishing you a safe and happy journey!
WooHoo! I know Emilio and Mariska can't wait to meet you all! Oh, and don't forget about Bina. She is a joy for soothing young children!! The perfect adopted nonna!!- Ciao, K
Best wishes on your new adventures and safe travels. We will miss you.
Have a great trip over. Now remember...most of Sicily is shut down in August so fill up your gas tank when you can, you get to hang your clothes out to dry and they will dry in literally seconds on the clothesline in August, Donna Fortunata has great pizza in Motta and a perfect place to eat when you first get there, don't be scared by the driving and bring your kids everywhere...but of course, drop them off at Bina's and get ready to communicate with her with a lot of hand gestures...
Whew. What a mess of stuff you've had to do. Congratulations on being at the point when you have nothing left to do!!!
The fresh smell of clothes dried on the line..., REAL gelato, fresh mozzarella, beautiful weather, wonderful people, amazing history.
I am jealous already.
Good luck, safe journey, and I can't wait to hear all about your new adventures :-)
Thinking of you as you get settled in your new place in a new country. I just want to say again how much I enjoy your blog. Love the photo of Noah and the caterpillar, and the one of Camille in the empty room is so eloquent. Can't wait to see your camera focused on Sicily!
"Take luck"
(that's my short version of Take care and good luck)
Safe travels, kisses for the kids, love and hugs for yourself and Adam, think about us as we think about you, and many, many fun and memorable adventures ahead! We love you! Chat with you soon:)
