First day of first grade. Early morning: holding his bus pass, twisting his hair, waiting at the bus stop and fussing at me to stop taking pictures. Afternoon: bouncing off the bus, hugging me tight, and reporting it was a pretty good day.
In addition to loving the blue doors we found on a little, dusty street in Urubamba, we also enjoyed: lunch at Kaia , ...
Awesome! Such good news.
Is that a Darth Vader backpack? Oh, I have a son who would have loved that in 1st grade.
Love the picture! I am so glad Noah had a good day. I can't wait to talk to Noah about it. Tried to call this morning but missed you. Glad he is happy with the back pack.
That is fantastic! Is he going to an American school or is he attending school with other Italian children.

Oh yay! And what a great pic! ;-)
What a big day for Noah and his mom!

Yahhhh! That always makes a Mama feel good!
This is so special and something since you wrote about it he will remember forever. I still remember my first day, over 50 years ago. My Aunt Thelma came and brought me a lunch box. I kept it for over 30 years.
So very glad to hear that you all are settling in and that Noah had a good first day at school. So many firsts. Looks like you are busily drinking in all that your new location has to offer. Look forward to reading more, and a belated thanks for the essay you sent. It came on a day where I really needed it. I think you have ESP. Wonderful photos!
