Happy to have returned from Naples by overnight ferry (so sorry for all of those stuck in traveling limbo throughout Europe); happy today is overcast and perfect for just lounging around the house; happy to be celebrating my birthday with those I love most; and happy to have two budding photographers in the family. These are two of my favorite pics from our trip. Top one taken by Noah, bottom one by Camille, both taken at the National Archeological Museum in Naples. 
Glad you went! With the kids in tow, you probably didn't make it to the risque Pompeii room...

I find that I take fewer and fewer photos myself these days, as my kids have surpassed my ability, and I can hardly get a turn - watch out :o).

One of my absolute favorite museums. So glad you were able to go. Looks like Noah caught a great shot of the three generations of women semi-silhoueted in the window. Very nice.
Of course, I just love MeiMei's angle: fun and funky at the same time.

They are lovely photos and I am glad you are home - I am off on holiday on Friday but going by ferry so all is well. I do hope that this chaos ends soon - I feel for the people struggling to get home!
Lovely photos--but that's to be expected, right? I'm glad you were able to make it home alright, and by ferry at night, no less. It sounds romantic, but that must have been a long boat ride! (This from one who gets seasick with the slightest provocation).
