Were you lighting the candles totally in the dark or is this a photography technique If it is about technique, can you share how to produce this result? Love the picture and the little hands in it!
Happy Hanukkah 2012! My daughter Katy has been learning about Hanukkah at school, and when I served fried fish and potatoes for lunch today, she spent the whole meal telling us everything she knows about Hanukkah. I told her I knew someone with a daughter just her age who has taken beautiful pictures of all their Hanukkahs, so when we finished eating, we came to visit your blog, and we've had a lovely time. I'm leaving my comment on this post because this is one of my all time favorite photos of yours. I hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful Hannukah in spite of the darkness of yesterday. How good to know that light will always be more powerful that darkness.
Bits and pieces of daily life, nomadic rambles, pickled cravings, piles of books, and a furry dog. Cajun, Jewish, Taiwanese, American family on the move.
