Sounds like we should check this one out.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07780716176071346576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-37420443757225015612008-07-25T18:48:00.000-04:002008-07-25T18:48:00.000-04:00my husband took the kids to this and I stayed home...my husband took the kids to this and I stayed home with the baby. My resolution for this year was to work on reducing our waste as a family and to recycle everything that we can. WALL-E was right up my alley. The movie brought up some great topics on what more we can do as a family to help.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-90381104750831245242008-07-20T17:59:00.000-04:002008-07-20T17:59:00.000-04:00We took Nathan to it last week, the first movie he...We took Nathan to it last week, the first movie he ever went to (Kung Fu Panda) he fell asleep 20 minutes into it so Id say WALL-E was really his first movie experience. I actually think the lack of dialog made it harder for him to understand what was going on. I did think it had a lot of good messages and Im sure we'll probably end up owning it but I don't think it was my favorite Pixar movie. There were a lot of really cute, entertaining scenes though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-11227188011971728832008-07-20T15:13:00.000-04:002008-07-20T15:13:00.000-04:00I LOVED THIS MOVIE. For the reasons you mentioned - especially the idea of how amazing "life" is and how much we take take living things for granted :)

Plus, I am a huge Hello Dolly fan :)Corinnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15741365928762676938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-51480755134998320662008-07-20T13:33:00.000-04:002008-07-20T13:33:00.000-04:00We saw it, and I'll say that those were some of th...We saw it, and I'll say that those were some of the *only* reasons I cared for it- the discussions it could bring up. As far as entertainment value, I prefer Nemo and Cars. BUT, I am the sort that loves movies with TONS of dialogue content (I think that's why I loved the TV show GIlmore Girls which was extremely well known for being jam-packed with "talk"). Anyway, after seeing it (Wall-E), I kind of had the urge to write up a teacher's guide or something. Maybe when it comes out on DVD? so we can re-watch it and take notes.Tisrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18075045361304027492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-17504269140967465062008-07-20T12:37:00.000-04:002008-07-20T12:37:00.000-04:00Let's hear it for Pixar--their movies rock! I'm sure I'll just wait and buy it on DVD at Christmas time. ;) I'm sure I would love to discuss it though.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07186530913721113724noreply@blogger.com
