Thankfully (although, I don't mean I'm thankful to not have kids), I do not have to currently worry about explaining my thoughts to children in addition to worrying about my hubby.Ah, what a tangled web we live in...
Sending you positive vibes and uplifting thoughts :D
-TaraTara Holmeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06134914230548308233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-86391924319389900912011-03-21T20:35:50.792-04:002011-03-21T20:35:50.792-04:00Lucia,

I've felt so sad the past week about what has happened there and I share your feeling of being out of sorts and not sure what to do with yourself.I don't know what the answers are to your questions. I agree that in some ways it feels better not to think about the situations in the world right now, but like you, I find myself reading every news story about Japan and trying to find some hope in what I'm reading.
Maybe it's best said in Japanese, Ganbarimasu; we just do our best and keep all of these people in our thoughts and prayers.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00503892522638616313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-79671309031705146832011-03-21T19:06:56.996-04:002011-03-21T19:06:56.996-04:00When I looked at the map, I was surprised by how c...When I looked at the map, I was surprised by how close you are to where all the action is happening. Why did I not realize it? I am praying for your safety and for the people in that poor nation. Our planet needs as many prayers as it can get right now, I'm thinking :)Corinnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15741365928762676938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-82181817141614359152011-03-21T17:09:10.178-04:002011-03-21T17:09:10.178-04:00While I do not have as a strong as connection as y...While I do not have as a strong as connection as you do to these events, I too feel a little guilty that they haven't been on my mind more. Do I blog about it? Do I not blog about what is going on my mind and what is effecting my family because in light of these situations my worries seem trivial. I am torn! I do not think you are wrong for not talking about it to your children. They are you and should have what little of their childhood protected. If they came to talk to you about these events then that would be another story. I think the only thing we can do is pray for these countries and their people and go on with our lives with hope of a better world tomorrow.likeschocolatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01733431135937009206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20750927.post-42516163546759512322011-03-21T14:03:28.854-04:002011-03-21T14:03:28.854-04:00Oh, Lucia!
